We started Tripiamo for three reasons:
1. To Help Others Travel Safely
Roads are meant for journeying, yet driving abroad comes with challenges. We noticed there was no single source of valuable getting around abroad safety advice (not even from national governments) so we created best-in-class, comprehensive driving guides that help travelers adventure safely.
2. To Help Others Travel Confidently
We prioritize adventure over stress. Don't worry about accidents, fines, or standing out as a tourist. Explore another country worry-free.
3. To Help Others Roam Further
We all want those amazing selfies in front of the Colosseum or the Eiffel Tower, but from our extensive travel experience we know the best adventures begin when you venture past the main tourist attractions. We want to eliminate any constraints to help you safely get there.
The Founder
John, previously the lead for travel products and platforms at two Fortune-500 companies, is an avid traveler that’s been to over 50 countries.
Even through extensive travels, John always felt somewhat limited by where he could go and what he could see while abroad. John believes we should be able to navigate anywhere internationally as we would in our home country, even if we don’t speak the same language.
